The development consists of the demolition of a semi-derelict former domestic/workshop structure, alterations to existing shop unit at 15 Wexford Street to form an entrance/reception area and construction of two new blocks with 6 no. student rooms with shared living facilities per floor on 4 floors in Black A and with 5 no. student rooms with communal living spaces per floor on 4 floors in Block B.

Some technologies consisted of a CHP for on site power generation as well as hot water generation, a gas boiler for the heating services via radiators and a 5-stop passenger lift.

A sprinkler system was also designed and installed throughout.
