Independent Living Units

GNCE were appointed Building Services Engineers for 103 independent living units/apartments in Crumlin, Dublin 18 for FOLD Ireland. These 103 units were spread over 6 blocks and were the second phase development for this site after the Primary Care Centre.

Unit technologies consisted of natural gas combi-boilers for heating via radiators and domestic hot water. Each block was fitted with a Photovoltaic array wired separately with 3 panels per unit.

Extensive site services were developed consisting of power, data an emergency Tunstall System linked from a main location to each unit individually.
